Kiwis are nuts

My son moved to New Zealand a year ago. He's a keen swimmer but in New Zealand they're all mad about sport, absolutely fanatical. He e-mailed me this morning and remarked that Kiwis are nuts.

He's wrong of course. Kiwis are fruits.
